Am I Back??? !!!

Am back!!! After a month or so…feels home!! Wondering? Yup…you heard that right, it feels great to be back home…and considering home is where heart is…am happy to be back here!


Oh…am going back home for a break…exciting? Though I don’t find it so! I just got a break…told my boss either give me a long break or I quit to take one…hoping that she would ask me to quit…but instead, she gave me a month’s break! So…I finally got one break that I had been waiting for so long, but then when it is approved, I realized Kolkata is the last place I would like to be for a month.


Strange na? The place where I grew up…the place which taught me everything…today I am not feeling like going back to the same place? Am I ungrateful? I don’t think so…I just dread being in Kolkata for a month. For a week or two is fine…but for a month…out of Hyderabad! Don’t know when, this city has started growing on me. With all its heat and dirt, with all the people around, with all the heart aches and heart breaks…with all the memories…the city is growing on me everyday. Every time I think of leaving this city, I dread the thought.


Don’t know what to call it…but nevertheless, it’s true! The break I was looking forward to, I now wish it never comes! I need the break, but to be with myself. To read up stuffs that I haven’t for ages, to listen to songs that I haven’t listened to for ages, to read old mails, to talk to myself…to watch the night sky…and…to rain walk!!


And have a lingering thought…to make a dream world in this world of Ethernet…and be there…away from everybody’s prying eyes. And give myself enough time to live in it to live through it through out my life!

P.S.: This is always the end of conversation when I talk to a friend of mine…donno why, but I love the way it sounds…the tone of it…and then after 5 minutes, back to ‘was getting bored, so thought of eating your head’ mode!

Actualy we human beings prefer to have current surrondings. When you first came to HYD always thought to back bcoz u missed ur the then surrondings.gradualy ur surroundings changed ur preference changed accordingly.

Months back (or is it years now?) I wrote somewhere, “Naming certain relationships complicate life. So don’t!” From then on, and even before that, I believed in it. And now when I look back, I see more unnamed relationships than named. Not that I can’t give them a name, but I choose not to. Irons and Ironies...

A lazy Saturday…with an unexplainable feeling of “donno what’s wrong”…or perhaps I do! Making me wonder, is sudden ‘the number you are trying to call is switched off’ enough to let my mind wander and wonder the whole night? Enough to wake up late with a bad migraine! And wanting to fast forward to Monday…so that I can find myself busy working. They say an idle brain is a devil’s workshop, and the devil that I am, my idle brain almost attains the level of being a perfectionist devil when it gets a chance. Did anyone ever tell me that I would miss my home awfully much? Did anyone ever teach me what to do when on a certain evening the city-I-grew-up-in would whisper deafeningly my name? Have I done so much, grown up so much…that returning to where I come from scares me? Am I aware that I am away for so long …that family is a planned appointment?
